This laundry closet was ready for more storage capacity after the homeowner converted to a stackable washer and dryer.

When a homeowner in Christiansburg decided to replace his side-by-side washer and dryer with a stackable unit, it opened up some space in the laundry closet for more storage. Blue Fox Carpentry built this custom cabinet to fit the space. The homeowner decided to paint the piece themselves and located their own granite remnant top.

Blue Fox Carpentry routed the dryer vent behind the new cabinet, and installed a motion activated switch to automatically mind the closet light.
